Is Amantine a legitimate small business?

Yes. Amantine is a small, woman-owned, U.S.-based, French-inspired women's clothing brand, run from our studio in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Georgia since 2020. We handle buying, styling, and shipping ourselves, which is part of why our collections move in small, considered batches rather than constant mass production.

Inspired by the timeless style of French fashion, Amantine's collections combine the sophistication of Parisian style with the romantic moods and colors of the French countryside. Both aspects of French fashion continually inspire our collections.

We handpick dresses and clothing singular for their grace and femininity. Our goal is to offer beautiful collections for romantics who appreciate culture, travel, and quiet sophistication.

About Amantine

Inspired by a lifelong love of all things French and a background in costume design, Caroline Nott created Amantine to be a go-to source for high quality dresses and clothing with a uniquely feminine edge. Our small team is in charge of everything from buying and styling, to social media and daily operations! 

As a small business, we support our local community, local suppliers, and courier services. And, as opposed to big box retailers, we recirculate an average of 48% of each purchase you make back to the local economy (compared to less than 14% of purchases made at chain stores.)* So when you support small businesses we in turn support real livelihoods and local communities!

Why doesn't Amantine have many reviews on some products?

Amantine releases in small batches, and many styles sell out before enough customers have owned the piece long enough to write about it. A dress that's gone in a week hasn't had the runway a bestseller gets over months of restocks. Fewer units simply means fewer reviews, not less love. The styles that do come back season after season, like our signature ginghams and cotton midis, build up reviews the way any well-loved piece does: slowly, and honestly.

Where can I see real, verified Amantine reviews?

The most reliable place is directly on each product page, where reviews are tied to verified purchases. You'll also find real Amantine reviews on your Shop App, which surfaces them independently of our own website.
