A Letter from Our Founder

Romance and Resilience

I created Amantine as an ode to quiet beauty and bold spirit. Inspired by the life of George Sand (born Amantine Lucile Aurore Dupin), a woman who wore her independence like a second skin, I dreamed of a place where romance and resilience could meet.

Each piece we offer is a whisper of Parisian elegance softened by the subtle hues of the French countryside. Made for independent and creative women who find poetry in everyday life.

The Story Behind the Name

Who Was Amantine?

Amantine is named for George Sand, the pen name of the French novelist Amantine Lucile Aurore Dupin (1804 to 1876). One of the most celebrated writers of nineteenth century France, Sand was known for living on her own terms: publishing under a man's name, wearing what she pleased, and surrounding herself with artists and thinkers. Her blend of romance and independence is the spirit behind every piece we choose.
