Marcella Cotton Maxi Dress

I was so impressed with the quality and fit of this dress!!!

I am typically a medium in clothing but based on the measurements I went with a small and it is still baggy on me in the chest. Unfortunately they have no smaller size so I’m going to try to wash and shrink it to see if that helps as it is a beautiful dress otherwise.

I'm going to have to take this to a tailor to have it resigned. There's darts in the breasts that come to a point. Plus, the cut is too revealing. I had to put a sweater over it to use it for church. I'm hoping something can be done to soften the point on the right breast. Plus, maybe have lace or a small piece of fabric sewn into the neckline to bring it up some. Other than that. There's a lot of detail work and if I can get it fixed it'll be a nice dress. If not it'll become a winter use only dress and I'll find a nicer sweater to wear over it.
